Based on a vintage military athletic short, the version takes that look and updates it with more practical fabrics and details. Where the original is devoid of pockets, BEAMS addsin pockets and builds the shorts from a technical fabric.

The outer is made with lightweight 20 denier micro rip-stop nylon –which is both strong and stretchy – produced in theHokuriku region of Japan. This is backed with a mesh lining which makes for a comfortable wearing experience. A drawstring on the waist is secured with a colour-matched to the fabric and teams with an elastic waist to help get the perfect fit.
